Day six: Exodus 6
In this chapter the Lord repeated His command, telling Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him to free His people. However, Moses was still worried about his speech and because the Israelites didn’t listen to him, this decreased his confidence to approach Pharaoh himself with a request to let the Israelites go out of his country from the Lord.
Moses knew that Pharaoh would turn him down just as the Israelites did. He told God that Pharaoh wouldn’t listen to him because of his poor speaking abilities. The Lord then assigned Aaron to speak for him in asking Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go.
In life we may get a prompt from God to either do an action or talk to someone who we mightn’t know; this may cause us to feel anxious and reluctant to do so as we may not feel good enough. However, we need to remember that God will always equip us for anything He wants us to do, all we need to do is trust fully in God’s instructions. So, your challenge is to place your trust fully in God and do whatever action or conversation He is prompting you to do.
Come and see what God has done.
Question for today: How will knowing that you can bring your concerns to God about anything in life affect how you live?
