So, Overflow…?

Overflow is our young leaders training weekend. Overflow is a weekend where we encourage and equip young people to become disciples who disciple. Young people who understand that they are loved and can live in the power of God every day of their lives. Overflow provides training to develop confidence and skills in young leaders. In the Bible we see lots of young people taking their place as leaders.

Our theme this year was…
CHOSEN.

This year at Overflow we explored some of the fundamentals of what it means to be a leader as we focus on the greatest example of Jesus. Through small group discussion and interactive activities, we thought in depth not only about what leadership looks like but also dug deeper into the importance of developing our character, serving from a place of humility and working as a team. We will also thought about the key role vision and planning has in effective leadership. All of our teaching and learning is grounded in the teaching of the bible as we identified key people in leadership roles who were chosen by God but who all led in very different ways.

Who…?

Overflow is for young people aged 15+ who show any sort of leadership potential.
Youth leaders do not need to come with their young people – they can be dropped off at the church and we will look after them.
Those who have been before are welcomed back – we are about continued development so a programme has been made for all stages of training.
